Dr. Sridhara Suthan M has built a distinguished career in interventional cardiology through advanced training, academic excellence and extensive experience in complex cardiac procedures.
His academic journey has been marked by exceptional performance, including recognition as a Gold Medalist and University Topper in the Final MD examination. He subsequently secured University First position in the Final DM Cardiology examination at Madras Medical College, Chennai, reflecting his strong academic foundation in cardiovascular medicine.
His clinical career has been distinguished by several important milestones in advanced interventional cardiology. He performed the first case of Intracranial Carotid Artery Stenting in South Tamilnadu and the first Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) in Kanyakumari district. He also performed the first LBBB pacing and CRT procedure in Kanyakumari district and the first LAA device closure in a patient with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation in South Tamilnadu.
His experience also includes advanced structural and congenital heart interventions. He has successfully performed more than 25 ASD device closures under TTE guidance, coronary artery fistula device closure in five patients, and aortic paravalvular leak device closure in two patients. In complex coronary intervention, he has performed more than 50 Left Main coronary artery stenting procedures.
These achievements reflect his commitment to advancing minimally invasive cardiac care and bringing contemporary interventional and structural heart procedures to patients.
